People
Human rights and Environmental Risks
By passing the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (which entered into effect on January 1, 2023), the German legislature took an important step forward in introducing uniform standards for protecting people and the environment. The Fraport Group therefore welcomes this political commitment to extending the safeguards to include the global supply chains of German enterprises.
Planet
Environmental management
In 2017, Fraport Ground Services GmbH implemented an environmental management system. In line with DIN EN ISO 14001 and the EU’s Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), Fraport Ground Services was assessed in August of that year by environmental expert Dr. Burkhard Kühnemann of Institut für Umwelttechnik GmbH, and subsequently accepted as a member of Fraport’s EMAS certified group of organizations.
Policy
Compliance
Fraport Ground Services GmbH attaches top priority to complying with all relevant laws and rules. It strives to act in accordance with ethical principles while organizing the company in such a way as to minimize liability risks for the company, its management and monitoring bodies, and its employees.
The Fraport Group is acutely aware of the responsibility it has toward the environment and society within the scope of its business activities.
