Ramp and Transport Services

The core expertise of our ground handling division is the on-time and efficient handling of your flights. Each day, we offer our customers a stellar performance, no matter what type of aircraft or freight load is concerned. Our professional, qualified staff handles up to 1,200 flights on a daily basis. (In spite of this heavy volume, our punctual handling rate remains 99.4 percent). Thanks to the effective loading and unloading processes the misconnex rate for baggage is below 0.024 percent.

Our professional Ramp Services cover the full spectrum of handling related needs, including ramp supervision, aircraft acceptance, aircraft servicing, as well as loading and unloading. We also offer numerous transport services for passengers and crew, as well as baggage, cargo and mail transport. We offer full aircraft moving and walk-out-assistance. Our Aircraft Replenishment Services team offers a full scope of services related to fresh water supply and toilet services. Additionally, we complement our aircraft services with a range of cabin maintenance and interior cleaning services via our subsidiary ASG. Certified aircraft de-icing services are provided by our subsidiary N*ICE.

The implementation of modern information technology enables us to simplify the handling processes and speed up the information flow: The usage of our Padilos II disposition system provides the timely and customized dispatching of staff and handling equipment for a specific flight event in a fast and smooth way. With new handheld terminals load master agents can check the exact handling status in real time. Since the handheld can interact via wireless LAN with weight & balance systems necessary changes to the comparison to load sheets can be carried out immediately, thus reducing transmission errors and saving valuable time.

In combination with regular customer meetings and on-site quality checks we make sure that our customers' individual requirements and wishes are fulfilled at the highest possible level - day to day.
